The diabolical Energy Disruptor is an all-new Reinforcement that can quickly lock down an enemy target by preventing them from using their most valuable abilities. In the right hands, this twisted weapon can turn even the deadliest foe into a helpless target. Once activated, the first enemy that uses their Ultimate Ability will be fired upon by the Energy Disruptor. This weapon inflicts a number of debilitating effects on its target.
- It damages the target, and Silences them for four turns, preventing the enemy from using their Ultimate or Advanced abilities for the duration.
- At later ranks, the Energy Disruptor reduces Superpower Damage from the target. In addition to this, the target is heavily Slowed for 3 turns.
- At the final rank, the target will receive damage any time they deal Superpower Damage.
Energy Disruptor: Tactical Tips
The Energy Disruptor is great versus characters who generally want to use their Ultimate first as soon as possible. Timing the Energy Disruptor is key to its success. To maximize the impact of the Energy Disruptor, take a moment to assess the enemy team and their likely Ult order. Denying the enemy team a chance to heal or shield can quickly end what would normally be a prolonged battle.
