Shrouded by Death, Beware of Cheshire!

BRIEF BIO

Assassin, martial artist and member of the League of Assassins, Jade Nguyen has spent her life perfecting the deadly art of poisons. Trained by her master Spitting Cobra, no target can withstand her venomous strikes and even deadlier poisonous concoctions. Once Cheshire’s target is marked for death, there is no escape from the inevitable.

Cheshire will be available on November 4 (UTC) in Early Access, and then in the Event Mother Box starting November 6 (UTC).

KIT INFO

Cheshire is an Epic, Agile DPS Villain who also happens to hold a new Team Synergy for Poison teams! Designed to focus down Back Row DPS enemies, Cheshire excels at hyper-buffing Poison Characters while quickly eliminating your opponent’s DPS characters with maximum efficiency.

DEADLY EFFICIENCY

  • Basic Ability: Poison Blade Cheshire attacks a back row enemy dealing physical damage. Targets without Poison on them receive a huge amount of Poison stacks. With investment, Poison Blade also adds Bleed stacks as well.
  • Passive 1: Assassin’s Edge Upon dealing damage, add stacks of Cheshire’s Poison. Targets who are low on health receive additional damage.
  • Advanced Ability: Shadow ShroudCheshire creates a shroud of fog and disappears into it, becoming briefly invulnerable. While attacking from the fog, enemies attacked will also receive Poison. At Level 3, Cheshire gains 2 stacks of the new Dodge Buff.
  • Ultimate Ability: Mad as HattersCheshire attacks the back row enemy with the most stacks of Poison. This attack does additional damage to the target based on the number of Poison stacks they currently have. At Level 3, Mad as Hatters also deals extra damage based on Bleed stacks.
  • New Debuff: Cheshire’s PoisonReduces the damage of afflicted DPS targets by 10% for each stack and Speed by 5 per stack. Counts as a Control debuff. Max 10 stacks.
  • New Buff: DodgeGives 100% chance to Dodge the next attack. No effects or debuffs will be applied when dodged. Multiple hits in a single attack will count for one stack of Dodge. Pre-existing damage debuffs on a character with Dodge will not trigger the stack.

BADGE INFO: DEADLY GRIN

Cheshire’s badge allows the Poison inflicted by her to linger until the end of battle. In addition to this, Cheshire’s Badge reduces her cooldowns and allows her to always Crit while enshrouded.

TEAM SYNERGY

Cheshire, along with Poison Ivy, holds one of the Team Synergies perfect for Poison Teams. Her Team Synergy requires 1 Target: Back Row character and 1 Poison character. Poison (NOT Cheshire’s. Just Normal!) applied to your opponent’s back row have unlimited duration. When adding Poison to Back Row enemies, 1 stack of Cheshire’s Poison is also added for 4 Turns. At higher Levels, enemy Poison stacks trigger their Damage after an enemy uses their Ultimate and the Poison and Cheshire’s Poison debuffs applied to enemies cannot be Cleansed.

TACTICAL INFO

Cheshire is a fantastic flex DPS option for the Poison teams as she offers assassin-style damage and versatility. She works exceptionally well attacking your opponent’s back row and can also do Bleed damage with investment. With clever positioning, she can even be a front row dodge-tank via Shadow Shroud! Some excellent team options for Cheshire include Swamp Thing, The Penguin, Poison Ivy, and Doctor Poison. Or, pair her with Bleed characters such as Deathstroke, Vixen, Weasel, Robin, and Two-Face!
